Hi Amber,

Thanks for posting here. I hope we can provide you with a sense that you're not completely alone. It's been a couple of days since you posted, have you told your parents yet? I'm sure your parents will be disappointed (at first). That is a normal reaction. But you'd be surprised to know how many parents become supportive once they've had time to digest the news. Give them time. Tracey gave some wonderful advice about having a plan in place before breaking the news.

I hope you'll visit your local crisis pregnancy center. They will know of all the resources in your particular area that you can benefit from. Most of the centers offer a parenting class. This is a good way of connecting with young ladies who are going through the same thing.

Does your ex know that you're pregnant? If so, is he offering support?

Please continue to post here as often as you like. We'd love to help you throught this as much as we can.
