Hi Katie,

Welcome to the board! Do you have transportation so that you can go to a pregnancy center? I would really recommend going to your local crisis pregnancy center. They will be able to talk with you about your circumstances to see what assistance is availabe for you.

You said that you couldn't abort and you couldn't go through with a adoption. I completely understand your feelings and I think that you already know what you want. I would never recommend anyone doing something that they already know they don't want to do. As far as your parents are concerned, your thoughts of how they could or would react could be very different from the way they really react to your news.

You need to find a way to tell your parents. I would recommend bringing a friend with you to tell your parents, or writing them a letter. You might be surprised, your parents may not react the way you think. Are they going to be disappointed? Yes, I'm sure they will but given time they could learn to accept your decision.

Hi Katie! I echo what Lori said. I know you are scared right now and not sure where to turn! You have come to a safe and supportive place! We can help you in finding a pregnancy center around you that can help you with all sorts of things from prenatal care, to counseling, to baby supplies, etc. If you'd like a list, we will need your state and closest city. We will then send you a list of centers. Please let us know how we can help! Keep us posted!
