Luka, make sure to take plenty of pictures. You may not have that special someone to share the event with today, in the present, but he will come soon enough and he will embrace your child as his own.

My current DH is not the bio father of my 2nd child, but he is her father, her daddy, her everything. I think they fell in love before he and I did. He loves to look at her pictures from the time period of her birth on up to when he came into her life. A few years ago, I heard him telling our youngest son about the pictures, and he told it as if he were there experiencing the event himself. I asked him about that and he said, "Well, I've heard about it and watched the videos and looked at the pictures, in my mind, I was there, I didn't miss anything".

Congrats and good luck. Motherhood is one of the most blessed journeys. I am continually blessed and humbled by my children.
