Hello everyone! My doctors appointment went well. My baby is healthy; the tech said it weighs around nine ounces. Seeing the ultrasound was the most breathtaking thing! I literally gasped as pictures came up on the screen. Ryan held my hand and grinned the whole time. I cried tears of joy when the tech told us that we were having a BABY BOY!

I think about the little guy all day. This baby is pure joy. The rest of my life gets me down. My mother tries to make me feel ashamed about my pregnancy. Everyone has an opinion about what I should do. I don't want to hear any of them and I hate everybody for making judgments about me. I feel like I will explode from stress sometimes! Like a little child, I want to just run away from school, work, debts and even my friends and family. My life is broken and I cant fix it. I need a vacation. The beach sounds nice. Mmmm... warm sand, sunshine, fresh ocean breeze. I don't think that I'm gonna make it there any time soon. But I can turn up the heat in my apartment and dream about it.

Mary~
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am SO happy for you! I'm sure Ryan is SO excited and proud! :)
I know you feel stressed and over-whelmed right now. Don't let your mother make you feel bad. She will only feel silly when she sees this little guy and all of this drama will be a distant memory. Trust me, grandparents are known to just melt when they are around their grandchildren. Will this be her first grandchild?
Mary, you have our unconditional support! We rejoice with you in the miracle of this little baby boy! May God bless you through this pregnancy and beyond. You are going to get through this and only be thankful for choosing life for this little guy. Motherhood isn't always easy, but it IS amazing and so beautiful. We are here whenever you need us! Post as often as you like! Congrats again on your new and exciting news! :)
God bless,
Tracey

Congratulations!! Baby boys are awesome. Names??? If you have trouble deciding we can do a 'name poll' here where you give us all the options of name you're considering and we get to vote on which one we like best. :)

I'm so glad you got the opportunity to SEE your baby. Ultrasounds are such a blessing. The first time we got to see each of our little ones in the womb it was a magical day. And after the birth, I've found that 'outside' baby shows so many of the same traits they showed 'inside.' Without the ultrasound we know with our head and instincts there's a baby growing in us, but there's something about actually seeing that little body.

Keep us posted!

Hi Mary,
Your posting was just so sweet. It touched me so much to hear you describe how you felt as you saw your little boy. Congratulations ! Ultra sounds are wonderful ! It brings back memories of the days when I had my ultra sounds there's nothing quite like the feeling of meeting your baby for the first time.
