Hi Pennie,

If your unprotected sex was on the 9th or 10th then that was long enough ago for you to get a home pregnancy test to answer your question. It gives pretty reliable results after 10 days and you're well past that.

That's the best solution to wondering I can think of!

Hi, Pennie,

By now you probably know one way or the other regarding pregnancy.

I just want to tell you that you are living dangerously. If your boyfriend leaves anything behind, either in you or right next to you on the skin, you could become pregnant. Withdrawal does NOT work.

You deserve someone who won't put you at risk. Please think seriously about talking to your boyfriend about respecting your needs, and not subjecting you to this kind of risk. If he isn't interested in protecting you, think real hard about finding someone else. I know you are bonded to him, but he isn't taking care of you. It sounds like you mean nothing more to him than a good time. Maybe he cares about you, and I am sure he has told you he does, but he may not mean it, and when you have your first crisis, he may prove not to be the man you think he is. You deserve someone who will cherish you, and that includes protecting you. Birth control is not reliable, so agreeing to use birth control is not the same thing as protecting you. The pleasure you feel now from occasional 15 minutes experiences isn't worth the heartbreak you can experience. Not only that, but the other risk is a nasty disease. And there is no birth control method that can protect you; they all make you more vulnerable. See if this is the man you think he is. If he truly loves you, he will rethink how he is treating you. Communication is so important. Talk to him!

I hope this helps.

Hugs,
Pat
