Hi Pixey,

What a great post to read! I'm so pleased for you that you got the opportunity to see your little one so soon. I agree; it's completely amazing. Sometimes a picture really does speak louder than words.

I'm also thankful for the peace and resolve you've been blessed with. If you're over the hurdle of painful indecision things are likely to get much easier from here on out!

If you're interested, there's a wonderful book for first time moms called, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" that covers just about every possile question a woman could have about pregnancy. I was never 2 ft from it during my first two pregnancies, lol. It's very common and can be found at literally any bookstore. Other news to know - now is a perfect time to start taking a good prenatal vitamin and getting lots of extra rest for yourself. Your baby is growing more rapidly now than he/she will at any point in the rest of your pregnancy and you'll feel it in your extra need for sleep.

Take good care of yourself! Your external challenges will seem less daunting if faced with a well rested and cared for body and patience with yourself and others.

Lastly - CONGRATULATIONS! on your baby. May your pregnancy be blessed and this child be a loving crossroads in your life. I rejoice in thinking of you being able to hold your newborn for the first time.

Stay around and post throughout your pregnancy whenever you feel like it. I'd love to hear updates and firsts, and collectively the women here have a lot of info and wisdom of pregnancy and children and can answer most questions you might have.

With Kindness,

Heather
