well, what can i say, i am extremely pleased to have picked up three points tonight where, at times we did look a bit shakey at the back and sunderland did threaten our goal a few times. i feel the lads have done themselves a great justice. its a message to all the other teams that we are here and we're staying.

i feel malbranque's performance today was one of the best i've seen from him in a long while. he and the whole team proved to me and all our supporters tonight that we are premiership material. i am glad to be top of the table so early in the season and i just hope the lads confidence stays up and we carry on winning the games, thank you.
