Since his personal Covert was also what he considered home, he had gone to great pains to make it appear personal. Unlike most, he favored a tree-dwelling, and so had fashoined a little tree house in the branches of the trees that sheltered his Covert. It wasn't much, really, having only two rooms, the main one for hanging out or entertaining a rare guest, and his bedroom. The two were seperated by a curtain, and another curtain seperated the little house from the rest of the world. By the entrance to his tree house a deck jets out, put there so his Bond Partner could easily take off and land. There were two ways to gain access to the dwelling: A staircase that wound up the trunk of the sturdy tree, or climbing up. The first was the most often used. At that moment Kaori was dragging himself up the staircase, mumbling about stairs that were too darn long. Finishing his ascent, he flicked aside the curtain/door, and collapsed on one of the cushins that were scattered about the main room. He glanced around the area, pleased with what he had done with it. Before he had Impressed Triqun, he had done much traveling, and had meshed many of the cultures he had seen into his dwelling. Cushins were scattered stragicecly about the room, forming comfortable 'bunches'. A low-slung table, meant for eating upon, graced the center of the room, and more clusters of cushins were scattered around it. For the people who prefered chairs to cushins littered on the ground( And Kaori had to admit he was not one of them) he had placed a few round chairs, and padded stools. Kaori did like padding an aweful lot. Wall drapes depicting friendly scences like unicorns and pegasi grazing were hung from the walls, and candles placed in holders almost randomly about the room completed the cozy atomosphere. He frowned slightly at the candles, and decided he must move them sometime, for they were a possible fire hazard, and he had never approved of unnesacary dangers. But just then Triqun burst in, making Kaori put off his musings for another time. Rider mine, the Bafids are gathering for a raid! We must alert the others, and train! Grumbling good-naturdly, Kaori rose, and prepared to mount Triqun, who was still sending his rider anxious thoughts. "I have a question, though, Triqun. Why didn't you tell me there were two silvers in the foals?" I would have told you if there were to crystals. Somehow Kaori doubted that. But silvers are second in rank. Not often do two Emerge in the same Emerangce, but they do. It is not unheard of. With that Triqun launched himself, bearing Kaori, towards an unannounced destination.
