First, you need to consider something. How many times have you shown your pony? If your answer is Not very many, then that's probably why. A lot of people have this problem with horses who have not shown much. All I can suggest is keep taking your horse to shows. Before you go into your classes, either lunge your horse or school her for a while. Usually this takes some of the edge off. After a while, your pony should be pretty good at shows.

If you don't see imediate results, don't get dicouraged. One of my old horses was like that. We had to take him to at leat five or six shows and lunge him constanly at the show until he was calm enough to compete. Now he is packing people around courses, never misses a change or spot, and has won a Champion or Res. Champion almost everytime out. Good Luck!
