Calista_Flockhart: I'm more analytical than she is!

Calista_Flockhart: Probably.

Smithie: Calista, do you think Ally's short skirts and flashy outfits exploit her or do you think they show that she can be feminine and fun, but still be taken seriously at the same time?

Calista_Flockhart: I think that Ally's short skirts show freedom of expression. And I think that Ally has chosen to be feminine.

Calista_Flockhart: And she doesn't compromise her work ethic by doing so.

Calista_Flockhart: I also think it's a brave choice to be uninhibited when it comes to freedom of expression.

Calista_Flockhart: First of all, greetings, wow, you're from Hong Kong!

Calista_Flockhart: I think it would be a really tough choice.

Calista_Flockhart: Billy and Ally had a very long history, but I actually believe it was more familial than as lovers.

Calista_Flockhart: So, I think Mark is adorable.

cricks: Hi, Calista! You've got a huge following here in the Philippines. Can you give us a peak into Ally's love life this season?

Calista_Flockhart: Ally finally meets somebody who rocks her world a bit!

Calista_Flockhart: For the first time, she's not about to blow it.

Ally_Thomas: Hey Calista!! I know I've been saying this a lot but it's true!! My name is Tereza and I'm from Brazil!! I love the show and my favorite character is Ally!! I think you're the best, you are an amazing actress!! Let me ask one question: Do you have something in common with Ally McBeal???

Calista_Flockhart: I probably have a lot of things in common with Ally McBeal, but I would say mostly her lack of censorship. And her imagination, maybe.

Calista_Flockhart: There was a time when I thought Ally and John were soul mates, but as the years go on, I think they're destined to be best friends.

meretricula: Calista did you enjoy doing the Vagina Monologues?

Calista_Flockhart: Yes! Very much.

asdf: Do you get nervous performing in large crowds (i.e Vagina Monologues) or in front of a camera?

Calista_Flockhart: Hmmm. Very good question.

Calista_Flockhart: I'd say I get more nervous performing before a live audience. But I do get nervous performing on Ally.

LucyMcBeal: I watched Midsummer Night's Dream and you were great!! What will be your next works?

Calista_Flockhart: Thank you very much!

Calista_Flockhart: Things are a little uncertain because of the strike...so either a movie or a play during hiatus.

sertaneja: Calista, I saw you and Robert Downey Jr. some minutes ago on ET. You both looked great. I have no question. Just wanted to congratulate you. I'm speaking from Brazil !

Calista_Flockhart: I've become more confident, but I'm still not extremely confident. But over the years I've become more confident. Not a lot more, just a little more confident!

big_benford: How did you feel about the Ally-Ling kissing scene?

Calista_Flockhart: I thought that it was very brave of Ally. I liked that Ally was exploring her sexuality. And it was also very sexy.

hello: do you memorize all what's on the script when you are required to speak and talk fast?

Calista_Flockhart: I do memorize the script, usually the night before.

Nini: From Canada, you are the best Calista !!!! Luv ya, I look up to you and learn so much for my future carreer in drama, and just to know, do you have a theme song ? It does help !!! You gotta love Tracy !!!!

Calista_Flockhart: I think that I have an affinity for all of them in their own individual ways. That's Calista. But Ally clearly likes Robert Downey Jr.'s character, Larry, the best.
