We Need Your Help

The state of West Virginia has funded West Virginia University Extension Service to conduct an Equine Impact Study for our state. To make this a successful study, we need horse owners from all over the state to participate. Call your local county extension office and supply them with your name and mailing address so the study committee can mail you a survey. If you belong to a horse-related club or organization, send your memberships mailing addresses too. You can photocopy this flyer and pass it on to farriers, feed stores, tack shops, horse shows, or any place equine related. Distribute in your county to make sure all horse owners are aware of this study. Pass the Word. The more survey’s completed, the better it will be for our state.

Let’s open some eyes in Charleston. All addresses will be destroyed once the survey is complete, your privacy is protected. Also, the survey may make funds available to equine related activities in our state. West Virginia is missing out on lots of money because they do not allow horses in state parks. Let’s show them just how many horse our state has.
