I got a pair of Ron Thompson G Force rods , OK so they were cheap (�70 a pair) and as I did not know if I would like Pike angling I didn't want to spend too much .
After catching a few fish around 10-12lbs I am now hooked and the rods handled the fish much better than I could have wished for .
