For heavy spinning/lure and light live baiting for Sea Bass, Pollack and Wrasse..
I have found that a 4 piece, 10 foot Daiwa Vulcan X with a casting weight of 10-60 grams is ideal.
It will handle spinners, from light weight Tobys through to heavy plugs such as Salmo, Jack's, Slider's and Warrior Jerkbaits. which incidentally are very good Sea Bass lures.
It is also capable of handling Sand Eel and small Mullet
live baits under a sliding float such as a Fox stubby live bait slider and a Wye weight.
