Subject: java eggs/chicks

We will have java eggs available this spring. Javas are the ideal homestead bird. They were a very common bird in the early 1800s and were raised for thier versatilty with both egg laying and meat production, and ability to forage and take care of themselves. They are docile great birds. Today they are extremely rare. They come in primarily two colors, black and white. The white are very rare and considered by many to be extinct. We have both black and white javas (and one mottled) and will have both black and white eggs available this spring. We are a small educational based project working on sustainable agriculture and traditional Native gardening practices out of La Crosse Wisconsin. All our birds are free range, grass fed organic birds.
