Several civil rights veterans, contacted by the Irish Anti-Partition League(www.ia-pl.org) have been contacted in regard to the above letter. A reply was received from one of these 1968 veterans expressing the solidarity of the Derry & North West Civil Rights Network, which has agreed also to circulate the request of the 1981 hunger-strikers' loved ones. We view this development as highly significant, considering the people involved in Derry and elsewhere.
