Now dear Sir NK,

If you want your board to take off abit more,
it will need a tad more work. For one, you may
want to write Joyce off-board
and request if possible that she add
"Bard's Table" to her list of other
boards WITH the proper addr with the slash on the end,

Also, it does take serious commenting by the
host/hostess to make it come alive. You also may
want to check out this addr for Chief Blackbears Tribe at:

and see if you can get "Bard's Table" added to their list.

Then also, with your names, almost must check out BraveNet

sites where you can put your site addr
in places Merlin hangs out!

Most likely I have more tips
if you like
to help out BUT you will need to establish
an Email addr that is different than your
personal one cause
Poets always need ways to
contact board masters....*smile*
Oh yes, if possible, you may want to
stop it from being a jumping board, too easy for
some great poems to get buried and
therefore not noticed. And finally, a good board
to host can take a lot of time,
again you may want to ask Joyce about
that....maybe another thing to take into
consideration, and perhaps you can get a
Mutington Seal to put on your board???

MEAL OF PEACE


On her way to the mountain
Walks a path through the woods.
Birds of many sing overhead
Of the splendid forest goods.
Sunlight is softly dappled
Upon tree's bark and plants
In the backwoods,
Rabbits hops away
Leery of being grappled
While upon her head,
Forest weaves a magic hood.

For its rich smell of loam
Is perfume for her heart
Tall trees form
A whispering dome
Of Nature's song
Painted by abstract art
As a babbling brook
Steams nature's tome
Gurgling words of a happy sound,
While within
Insects and fishes abound
Cycles of life that repeats.

Now at the mountain base
She looks up at her climb
Leading to her private
Retreat's grace
Refreshing mind and limb.
For which her steps
Starts to go up, all in place
While her mind chants
To renews mind's strength
Not concerned cause she's seen
The Light of this higher place
That freely gives energy
For her body focal length.

Around and over the craigs she goes
Rising higher and higher
Momentarily resting,
Looking like a rock rose
With attire and deep within,
Her supporting fire.
And then, she is there
Of where in repose
Looking over trees,
Now way down there
Under, a ledge of stones
That juxtapose
Sits she upon
A natural stone throne.

Way above her,
This mountain's granite peaks
Disappears into a heavy mist of clouds
With wisps drifting down as if to seek
Her, giving a feel
Of attendant's courtly crowd.
While she draws in energy
Of deep mystique
From the vista
Spread before her as if a meal
Laid out on the table of the world
So to speak,
Without condiments of .. hateful spiel.
