Author: Celeste Riceburg
Subject: ...It is good that the young are beautiful; it is the only advantage they have...

...Celeste walked, her arms were slightly irritated by the wind, but it was not so bad because she had a quarter-sleeve shirt at the least. But her legs were not so lucky, she was only attired with a short black skirt. Her toes wiggled in the sand as she walked, head down, so unusual. Celeste usually walked with her head held high, she was the teen dream. And as such she had 'duties', even so they all seem to come crashing and burning down that day. Celeste should have been in class at the moment, but for the first time didn't feel the need to show up and impress. She'd lost her whole reason for doing almost anything she did anyway. Julian wasn't hers. She thought she had him, and she was so wrong! Maybe it was time to pick up and move on to greater horizons, the only problem was she didn't see one. Julian had everything she wanted, everything. But thats all Celeste knew were his virtues, she didn't know his mind, his flaws, his past. She didn't know anything she should have known, things she could have really used, and Celeste had never known real pain before. She was just some sheltered princess without any real knowledge of life. Time to break the walls, but how? Could she survive out of her circle? No she couldn't, and it scared Celeste more than anything. How would she ever see anything truly of value? She wouldn't...and it was so sad because she couldn't determine what would happen to her anymore, it was too late, she had waited too long, at least she thought. Celeste was just clueless, and when it was all over she wouldn't have anyone in the world, especially not Julian Emberson...
