Scott laughed as he finished up the hamburger, seemingly fulland content for now. Scott was itching a spot on his neck as he awaited Sean's response, and nodded. If Sean didn't want to talk about it he didn't have to.

The thing with Scott was he was already known for being a player and having some faults, so talking about his problems came a little bit easier with the right person. And because he trusted Sean he replied to his comments accordingly. Yet, not before looking about to make sure no one else was listening, and they weren't. "It's Celeste." he said lowering his voice a bit, eyes swiveling over to the Kilborg table where his lovely ex-girlfriend sat.

"She is hung up over that Julian guy..." Scott looked at Sean, he was sounding like a love sick fool. Scott the player, love sick? Oh, that can't happen. "I mean not that I care, you know?" he added hastily, although very much sure Sean would see right through that.

He nods vaguely, frowning in contemplation as his comrade communicates his predicament. He delicately elects not to remark on the boy’s concluding statement about caring, because it is undoubtedly clear that the other does care, and that seems to be a piece of the crisis. “Well, I don’t know what to tell you except that Celeste will love whomever she wants, whenever she wants.” His grimaces a bit at his vocabulary, his attention traveling to the everlastingly gone Eris somberly, her illustration is compelled away from his thoughts and he returns to the topic at hand. “Maybe you should ask her out again.” He says absentmindedly, in a method that someone might propose that a portrait is not hanging straight, like it isn’t really significant but should, in a way, be mended anyway.

Fingers find their way through his tasseled black locks and his eyes turn away from regarding his companion to looking at the rest of the world, his mind resolutely shifting to Julian for a brief moment before he once again moves on to think about how sad the world is. A chuckle leaks through his lips despite his efforts to chase it away, and his fingers abandon playing with his strands of night to tap incessantly upon his left leg that is adorned with khaki pants. Other hand also ceases the task of toying with his hair, but instead of fussing with anything else it merely provides as a chin rest for the boy. Yawning a bit he returns to regarding the other, his fatigue making it a bit difficult for his eyes to remain open, yet he forces them to remain open. You can’t fall asleep until your in your dormitory, stupid one. He tells himself mockingly.

[> [> [> [> [> Don't expect him to fix that -- Celeste Riecburg, 10:21:15 06/14/02 Fri

Celeste left the Kilborg table to return to her dormitory when her ears caught wind of a very interesting conversation. As she stopped to listen in she smirked to herself.

Celeste came up behind Sean as he made his comments and smiled. She faced Scott, put her hands on Sean's shoulders and said simply, "Why thank you Sean, I'm glad somebody gets it." Celeste gave a very uncaring wave as she walked away from the scene.

Irritation blemishes the once docile appearance upon his countenance, but it is rapidly strained away from demonstration. “And the spoiled little princess leaves the scene.” He answers serenely, undulating his eyes in disdain and leering in entertainment. “She thinks she owns the world, it is rather amusing.” He remarks, to nobody but himself, in all realism. Hurriedly salvaging organization of the infuriation that routed through his blood he once again alters his concentration to Scott, elevating an eyebrow in question. “I can’t see how you can love that.” He mentions with nearly a joking grin in his comrade’s direction.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Hey, no eavesdropping :) -- Scott Hartam, 18:46:24 06/14/02 Fri

Scott got a sinking feeling in his stomach as he looked up and saw Celeste towering over Sean, and as she left he felt a little worse than he had before. As Sean made his remarks about whatever Scott said nothing at first, thinking of a good answer.

"Man, I'm not sure I get it that much either, I mean that is why I let her catch me kissing Angelique right?" Scott said referring back to the big contriversy last year. "But now that she likes Julian it's like I can't stand her liking...loving anyone else. When I was with her I use to forget about everything, it would only be her and nothing else would matter." he said dazing off a bit and in appreciation of coming back to reality, he snapped out of it.

"I don't know why I was such an idiot...somehow I just got sick of her acting as if she owned the World like you say, and you know...I think Julian likes her to. It's just a hunch, I could be wrong, but I saw them in the Sports Complex yesterday..." he trailed off, obviously Scott was having a very hard time with all of these mixed emotions people like him were not supposed to have.

"And I can't jsut ask her out again, either. She'd laugh in my face..." he trailed off, that wasn't the real reason though. It was because that would make him look weak, and Scott wasn't having that.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> eavesdropping...everybody does it. -- sean terris, 17:18:39 06/16/02 Sun

A smirk shapes upon his orifice and a monotonous chortle trembles up his verbal ropes, his pleasure abruptly fairly perceptible. “It was Angelique that she caught you with?” He inquires in indistinct curiosity, his concentration transferring to the girl that he was communicating with just lately. A shrug revolves his shoulders in a signal of apathy, scrutinizing his cohort contemplatively. “Perhaps you should try playing with her jealousies.” He proposes, grinning a bit in understandable malevolence. “You know that her Highness would only want to see the guys that she went out with in pain after she left them…and I have a feeling that Julian is only interested in Celeste in a friendly way.” He remarks casually, gradually growing weary of talking of Celeste. Well, I hope that’s all that Julian is interested in Celeste, even if Julian and I are no longer friends…and why is everyone talking about Celeste these days, anyway? What’s so good about that slut? He asks himself in frustration…no, I do not like Celeste at all.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> But you aren't supposed to let anyone know you know! -- Scott Hartam, 08:31:42 06/17/02 Mon

Scott didn't understand what was so funny about him kissing Angelique, and the more he talked about this girl the weaker he seemed to be getting. "Maybe I will play with her jealousies." he said with finality. However, he was a bit more interested in what was funny about Angelique. "So, anyway, to get off the subject of our school pretty-pretty princess, what is so funny about Angelique?" he asked. He began to brainstorm...she was probably the only girl he knew he kick-boxed..but how was that funny?

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> whoops, my mistake. -- sean terris, 23:27:01 06/17/02 Mon

the boy only shakes his head in obvious refusal to share his reasoning. "that's for me to know...and you to find out." he declares, his voice tainted with a mocking note that hints at jousting. "well, i'm off. i'm getting tired and my inital reason, to eat, has been satisfied. g'bye, scottish." he says and stands, leaving the area just as soon as he arrived, not turning around.

(sorry for the short, crappy post...i'm not in the 'role playing mood' for sean but i had to close the thread before the mother decided that she hates me again. *shrugs* so what else is new? yeah, whatever. anyway, love yah for role playing with me, it was fun. maybe we can do it again once the mother decides that i'm able to get back online...my thoughts? i'll never be on. *shrugs* ah well, i've been wrong before. g'bye.)
