Most I'm fancying I will discover when my independence is recognized by the world. For now, there is not much else to wonder about other than the works of my favourites and the work they give us... why not, after all, it's not as if it's a tedious chore. I love the solitude of the library and the things I learn about their lives. It's something I'm looking forward to possibly live as well, my own way. There's nothing asphyxiating my well-being and my expression, myself if you so should call it. My plate is plenty empty but the rations are enough until I am king, and can have it all I want in any way. Plus," He smiled wistfully. "It keeps me saner than the rest of the school. Practically nothing worries Julian." He said this matter-of-factly, third-person, a gloved finger up as an unecessary hand movement.

"Just because my dad doesn't talk to me doesn't mean he doesn't say anything, he's the world's best screamer, all he does is yell or be harsh. Verbal abuse, but I don't have anyone else in the world" she said. She listened to him, delighted to be able to talk to someone, she'd longed for intelligent life for so long. "This school is pretty psycho, including me. Everything worries Adrienne, every little noise, but I guess that comes from home. Sudden movements-main reason I can't play sports...and harsh words. I hate it all, because it scares me. I'm..insecure. How can you not worry about anything at all? About what happened at Hogwarts? That the infectious poison isn't going to spread here? I worry everyday, everyday, and now even more than ever. I'm stranger to comfort.." she said, and then she admitted a small laugh, "I was even scared to come out ehre today, but I made myself. I use to be able to do wahtever, despite the worries, I liked to go out at night...now I have to make myself do everything I use to do, it's stupid to be so jumpy...but I'm use to it" she smiled.

"Mm," He said, quietly nodding. He would make his leave now. He needed the sleep, he needed the time to finish his homework. He needed to think about other things. This remote idyll wasn't something he was looking for. Nonetheless he smiled at her and then proceeded to leave. He stopped abruptly at the doorway's arch, the light of outside faintly shining on him. "You were comfortable just now." He said, giving his signature miniature wave of good-bye and he left for the hall. That was a nice break, he told himself. It might have done me good... we'll just see.

Adrienne's head cocked to one side and she watched him wave and walk away. "You were comfortable just now..." the words recited in her head. She stood up with the soccer ball, starting to kick against the wall, "No..." she said wistfully. "I was distracted just now..." she thoguht. Watching him until she dissappeared she shook her head, still kicking the ball, "Thank you...Thank you for distracting me" she whispered.
