A blatantly amused, impertinent grin impudently enticed the edges of his mouth into turning upward, his amber flecked, brown oculus staring up in anticipating patience. He seemed to dismiss her accusation that she would strike the jovial smile upon his lips off of them with an arrogant wave of his hand, although not everything is as it seems. He was dismissing her "accusation" that his grin was silly. "It's not silly. It's devastatingly handsome. You know you can't resist my rugged good looks." He's obviously, at this point, joshing with her, although he does have a cockily inflated view on his appearance deep down... and it's quite justified, in all honesty.

The gamin contemplates her steadily with a burnished gaze that seems to radiate soft warmth, his eyes slightly narrowed in defense against the blindingly ardent sphere in the sky. He imbibed her words as they effluxed from her, a smirk of dapper proportions titillating his lips as his nearly natural wit conceives an adequately humorous and mocking reply. "Don't jump, because we know that you couldn't land on your feet." Quite aware that simply to spite him, she will now allow gravity to take its course, he encloses his moderately brawny arms about her feet and slowly works his way up to her knees as he extends onto his tiptoes, sinew tensed with the effort. He always got the last laugh.

"I think I'll pass," is the jocular, jubilantly retorted riposte to her third and final comment. In deliberately elongated gradulation, he lowers her towards solid ground; towards a feeling of control and stability. The masculine comedian's near sable optics scintillate in the sun's tenderly radiating rays, making for a ravishing effect. His potent arms are about the middle of her slim torso when her feet make contact with the ground, at which time he does not immediately release her, perhaps letting his hold upon her slender figure linger longer than necessary. He extends his cranium over her femininely shaped shoulder and vocalizes, feigning a high pitched reply that is designed to be imitative of her voice, "Thank you, Romeo, for saving me. I don't know what I would do without you. You're my hero." He relents his grasp about her bantam form and takes a few steps back, dynamically pretending in exaggerated motions to be clutching at his heart and being googly eyed and infatuated, albeit pulsating hearts in cartoon characters' eyes. He gives her a devilish, slowly simpering grin, his transplendent, dark gaze glittering with boundless mischief.

Gentle laughter played across pale pink parted lips, broom held in delicate digits as fem' was lowered. Deep brown gaze settled upon he as his grasp lingered 'round her and not much was done for moments. Amusement continued as the male's falsetto spoke, though no more audible mirth was given and lips merely remained twisted slightly. Eyes danced as she ventured to reply, "Oh, but my dear Romeo, you hath been mistaken. I see no hero near me." Retort was awaited, watching her company with interest.

His alluring oculus, nearing the enticing hue of sable, flickered with arrogant gambol as her mockingly snide comment preceded from her lips. Those roseate lips of his twisted skyward in evident amusement, and his gaze snagged her's assertively, holding it there while he grinned. "You're in delirious denial. Guess you got rattled while you were hanging upside down and the blood was rushing to your head." The smile upon his light cherry toned lips, the epitimity of something being full of life, never faltered but just perpetually persisted in remaining extant. He gives her a sideways glance that would produce chills in a girl unaquainted with him, his trademark, impish grin still tickling his lightly toned lambrums.

A strand of raven hair was twirled absent-mindedly around a slim digit. Pale labrums parted, pursing slightly as if in thought while speaking, "I suppose...Romeo...that I might consider you a hero for that little episode." Grin was given and hair-twirling promptly ceased, upper appendage dropping to lay upon a curvy cocked hip. "Next time, you're preformance will undergo excruciating...study and judging before you win your title." Expression of mock exasperation crossed features, "I mean, what kind of Romeo-ish Hero leaves his damsel still standing? I do believe I should have swooned by this point."
