I believe that is true......I have a four month old yorkie and he only gets prettier with age. We love him, I recommend this type dog to everyone. Now his hair was very thick as a pup, and it gets a little longer it tends to thin out some....but not much. He has always looked "pretty" so if you dont think they look right at 4 months ---I say---DON'T GET IT.
