OK, I wasn't sure if this had to deal with movies on TV or in the theater, so being the avid movie buff that I am, I figured I'd do one of both.

Working at home I see a lot of movies......shhhhh... don't tell my boss... This morning I watched "The Kid" with Bruce Willis. It is supposed to be a kid's movie, but I thought it was just a great overall movie. The basic story is that Bruce Willis a wealthy and successful (yet lonely) man about to turn 40 is greeted by himself 32 years younger. He spends the movie first trying to get rid of the boy and then trying to figure out why the boy came to see him. It is a cute movie and the ending is really worth while.

I also saw (about three weeks ago), "I am Sam" This movie is excellent! It stars Sean Penn as a mentally retarded man who has a child and his lawyer, Michelle Pfifer (speld rong). Because of an incident with the police the question of Sean Penn's ability to take care of his now 8-year old daughter is brought into play. This movie is absolutely wonderful as the court battle for Sam's daughter is fought. The Soundtrack is all Beatles songs done by various artists and flows with the movie really well. Sean Penn in my opinion deserves an Oscar for his role. If you decide to see this movie, as Sam says (about a tall triple Latte) "That's an excellent choice."
