Long Live The Philes!

I began wathing the show from the very first episode September 10, 1993. I was 12 years-old. I'm almost
22 years-old now. It's funny to think that something as simple as a TV show could bring so many people together and inspire so much. Look at all of the fan-fiction, the messege boards, the fan based web sites, the fan art. People like us would never have met if it haden't been for this show and the pure and simple enjoyment we all got out of it.

I'm so happy I met each and everyone one of you, and I'm happy that we could all be a part of this together. We all had our dissagreements, our disputes and our own ideas of where the show should go, what it was, and what it might become.

To me, The X-Files became the greatest TV show I had ever seen, and quite frankly, I hope nothing ever changes that. I want to be able to look back and say "I had a TV show I watched when I was younger, and I never missed one episode, that's how good it was."

I hope years from now, when The X-Files in in re-runs for the hundreth time, some kid tunes in and discovers for himself what a wonderful show this was, and why for 9 years people like us watched it faithfuly every week.

It's been a great run, guys. I'm sad it's over.

Long Live Mulder and Scully!

Long Live the Philes!
