Hannibal was not so good. Julianna Moore is a good actress but Foster was missed. And the film was mostly about Lector and got a bit too preposerous by the end.

Rent Manhunter for the double feature. Lector only has one scene but its interesting to see a different take on him than Hopkins. Tom Noonan plays the pursued killer, the guy from Paper Hearts. He one of those actors whose always playing a psycho.

Alien is a great film. Some think Aliens (#2) is better, more of an action film. Alien 3 was a letdown but somewhat stylish. Alien: Resurrection had some great elements so I liked it better than 3 but 1 & 2 come before that. The series certainly is unique for having a female hero. Ripley is more central in the sequels. Kind of a metaphor for women overcoming (male) authority.
