Well, thanks for at least attempting an answer. Maybe my friend was just confused, as -- from what you say -- it was apparently a confusing ep. I think CC pretty much pissed off his entire fan base by using the last few eps to both kill off TLG *and* have Scully put William up for adoption. . .those of us who hadn't *already* quit watching the show in disgust after Mulder had left.
