A burning creeps up the muzzle and forelegs. Wherever the water touched, Bluemoon's hair and skin fell off. It became extremely painful and bloody, soon after turning into a deep black wound.

His throat becomes parched and so tight Bluemoon can't breathe. His stomache burns from the inside out, deteriorating his flesh and making literal holes in his body.

What was at the bottom of the pool didn't matter.

The hoof that went in the water, to splash it, curls up and turns black, causing pain and bone-deteriorating up his foreleg. The hoof soon falls off in layers, revealing a bloody stub for the foreleg. That soon turns into black flesh, too.

Everything was painful, it was death by a thousand knives.
