Fearlessly, young blackblood colt approaches turtleshell. Fragrance o' wolves detected, 's well as silver blood. Ugh! Flatulence alert! Both smells he despises. Wolves he has no fear of, but th' silverblood could return, 'nd see him. He would be defenseless 'gainst attack. This also lets down his guard 'gainst memories. Remembrance: a useless waste 'f time. And yet he falls into its trance, th' trance 'f memories left not too far b'hind...

His twin: A filly, white, who only recently discovered her blackblood heritage, Mulan refused th' ways of her kin when offered by her twin brother.

His mother: A mahogany-hued mare, silverblood, *Raya once lived among the enemies of her kind. This only he knows, for th' story was never offered, and so much he knows only by th' scent o' blackbloods 'pon her.

His father: Unknown. He only knows that th' steed who sired him was a bit of a vampire-horse, with fangs, claws, batlike wings, and eyes set forthwards 'pon his head.

Almase: A friend of his mother, she dwelled once in th' terra called Silver Coppice. What drew her away from her home, he does not know.

Midnight In Montgomery: He cannot be th' father of these twins, for his blood is silver-hued, and a foal carries on th' blood of his or her father. B'sides, he does not match th' description overheard by blackblood colt 'f his father. Yet he seems very close t' *Raya...

Mount Camaron: The recent terra of all mentioned, Sombra left this mountain after a confrontation with his twin sister Mulan.

None of this is any loss, except his twin sister. D'spite himself, he not only knows they could have conquered t'gether, he loves her in th' way of twins.

Memories shaken off; void of emotion, raven-hued colt is once more. Approaching turtleshell, youth taps it w'th forehoof. Dulhan's Web is seen. Satisfaction: a treasure? Wondrous! muzzle thrust b'neath it, then flung high. Web tosses, settling 'pon cranium. Thornlike auditors poke through weaving, b'tween threads. Turning, he trots out o' terra. 'F one who was here should return, he does not wish t' be around still. Swiftly he exits th' terra.

Sombra has claimed Dulhan's Web.
