The painted femora nuzzled her son, then cantered gracfuly to a cliff hanging out over the sea. Her mane blew back with the gentle, ever going breeze. She whickered for her son to come.

The black colt sqealed with joy, he was ever growing now and it would soon be time to wean the colt. He galloped yet not like a foal any more but more maure, as he came out beside his mother. He watched with amazment watching the waves crash against the mighty rocky territory.

"My son, isn't it beautiful? Tis ever going, no end in sight, but yet there is an end yet it is quite far far away, on another land. Tis almost like life my son for tis ever going, and ever aging, as yourself, my son, you are growing quite older now, and are a weanling now. You musn't nurse from me anymore for I can no longer provide, you must eat grass now do you understand?"

Blazes nodded, he did understand and knew it was coming, he starred out over the crashing waters. "Mother you won't ever leave me shall you?"

She laughed slightly, "No my Son I shall not leave you ever, if you wish to stay with me. But I am sure of it that as you get older you shall find a filly and wish to be with her more than me, but I shall never leave you in your heart no matter what, for I love you dearly."

Blazes smiled laughing a bit himself, "I Love you mother but I shall never find a filly I only wish to have my own territory and help in the battle to destroy the blackbloods."

She nuzzled him again, "That is only what you think but is it what your are destined to do?"
