He didn't want to get any more hurt than he already was. He nuzzles the dubbed 'Red Dance', letting her know that it wasn't her fault, things like this do happen every once in a while. He nickers in greeting to Alva. He slowly gets up, not wanting to hurt himself more & slowly limps twards her & nuzzles her lovingly. His pain was worse than he thought. But he knew that Red Dance didn't mean to hurt him, but that did mean he would have to have alot of rest & might not be able to protect the herd. He hangs his cranium low to the ground, feeling awful for himself & feeling ashamed of himself...*
