...I think instead of just shutting down the sites, [from personal experience] we should instead provide links to 2-3 sites that are pretty active, to get a more # of people playing there...so that instead of having 10 games [same plot] and allowing for power-hungry people to be like, OOOO new game, more spaces, [i am a hypocrite] and join there...then they will be like...oo...kewl game, should join cuz it's good...
I've had some games in the past close down [hmm...if Jen & Dee are still here, they can explain fully...LoL] and some people were outraged [they felt like killing me] and it was one of the stupidest games you've ever played [remember the magical unicorns with good vs. bad on EXPAGE...now come on, do you even remember the meaning of EXPAGE? LoL...trust me, this is before HTML era for those of you who lack the expage experience, it is one of the most heart-fulfilling eras every...] yet it was active, it was fun, it was the plot that counted, i don't think i had one damned graphic up there except those unicorn images...and even those were pictures one for everyone...so if you put links on those pages, people will see that and go, since now they have more time...[somehow this doesnt fully explain my point] but what i want to say is that if everyone combines there [however many gmaes] into one, and even partner with someone else and combine, you will have about 4 times the number of players & activites...true if you want to be your own owner, you can't do that, but if you are willing to bend on some things [one person gets name, other territories, share most powerful wolf or whatever...] then you can greatly increase your active players, as well as have more people advertising for the same game...
