Greythorn shivered, and felt for the dagger in his belt again, fumbling blindly, the dragon something loathsome and even more so then the empty pit which had claimed a stake in his chest ever since the accident. Zion saw this and scrambled down Greythorn's arm until his master would be unable to move it and strike out at the dragon.
"Leave me alone..."
He muttered again, his eyes no longer empty, but holding something very terribly alive in them, like a cornered animal's eyes before it was forced into striking, the eyes of the feline before it died, bright, hateful, craving revenge... But soon even that kind of cruel life fled his gaze and he looked down, Kain reappearing to land on his left shoulder, creeling plainly begging for attention.
Zion on the other hand and began to chide the dragon as if it was nothing more then another flit who had done wrong.
Sending images of a Blue, maybe a picture of himself, only enlarged several times...
"Tell K'u..."
He paused, he, Greythorn, that being, the same loneliness shining in his eyes.
"Tell 'im he can go be a Smokeless Weyrling for impressing such a witless bronze."
