Gryffen whipped her blade around, barely deflecting the arrow in time. She kept her sword drawn and pulled her belt knife from her back. She saw that her insults weren't sticking and decided to try another tack. "Water-lover! Hydraphile! Pyrophobe!" She taunted, shinning blades held ready to deflect any other arrows the young boy might care to throw. "Now what do you think would happen if you were to get dumped in a lake, huh?" She asked in a sweet, innocent tone, "Do you by any chance know how to swim? Of course, you would know how to swim. Now I am a terrible swimmer, how about we go to the lake when this little game is all over? We could jump in the lake. Icy, cold, wet, deep, water. Covering you, dark and damp. You have to hold your breath or you could drown1" She continued in the sweet soft tone. She had always found it most persuasive. Gryffen continued to hold alert, not attacking, letting her words do the work.
