The boy grinned, drawing his kaans once more, and, standing in battle stance, held one katana upright, facing his opponent, sharp-blade side toward her, and, upturing his arm, turning it at a fifty-five degree angle, sword help upright, blade facing away. He looked like a wind=up toy, and, if he unwindeed, would go spinning accross the round, a deadly blade cyclone.

"Ya wanna play it this way?" he grinned, his eyes sparkling with a look that seemed to sing, :I know something you don't know!"

And, with a sharp click of his tongue, he watched his opponent, crimnson gaze set upon her.

Then, from no-where, from between, appeared the brown firelizard, above Gryffen's head, to the back so she couldn't see, and silently, dropped a lighted match, (which he had picked up from where Andy had patted it on the ground, without his opponent noticing) in Gryffen's hair.

Andy knew that from experience with wool, the same type of matter as human hair, would shrivel and burn quickly, so, if she didn't get her precious water, or get the match out quick, her whole head would be alit on fire...

The match landed. Now, what would happen?
