She lays down, closing her eyes slightly. She howls for her mom but not much comes out. The pup sighs, it sounded more like a light bark or a whimper. She wasn't even going to try one of them. She closed her eyes a little more, and saw movement. Her eyes popped open. She watched as a tiny squirrel hurried up a tree. She barked at it. Her bark was okay. She watched it and growled. She happily pawed at the tree.

She saw a stream nearby and suddenly relized that she was thirsty. She looked at the squirrel one last time, not wanting to lose it. She watched it go down the tree, only after she began to walk away, and lost it as it scampered further into the woods. She walked slowly over to the stream. Then, she picked up speed and ran, heart beating so fast she thought it was a drum. She stopped and the stream and looked at her reflection. She smiled at the star on her forehead. She then began to drink from the water.

The pup looked up at the sky. She tried howling one last time. She still couldn't do it right. She turned and splashed into the water. She gleafully barked. A little while later she hopped out of the stream. She shook her self, tiny water droplets fliying every direction. She watched those crystal-like drops fall.

She closed her eyes, ready to fall asleep, but wanted her mother first. She howled once again, this time it sounded almost right to her. She looked around for her mother, but could not stay awake. She tried, but fell to the ground. Her eyes slowly closed, and her stomach growled, but she was fast asleep. The dream slowly opened up to reveal itself.

The young teenage she wolf ran through the woods. Her black coat barely showable, a shadow of the night. The wolf howled an enchanting howl. Probably a loner. The wolf ran, faster yet. The trees blew slightly in the wind. Lightning cracked in the sky as a tree fell behind her. But she kept running. A loud crack was heard as the wolf peered into a den. The wolf raced in as thunder boomed. She ran over to a side. She listened slightly, still a shadow. Rain bagan to pour outside. She barked as a small tornado began. She huddled by the back. The tornado came closer yet. The wolf howled shrilly as the strom grew. She leaped closer to the entrance. Long after the storm died down. She growled as a light mist of rain fell from the sky. Carefully she picked her way out into the woods. A few blood spots on her, where twigs had hit like whips in the storm, were covering her body. She ran into the woods looking for any other wolves that were around.

Suddenly she woke up. It was all a dream. A dream she didn't understand. She wondered who the wolf was. She howled for her mom once more, than began to search for her, staying near the outer rim of the woods so as not to get lost near the deeper parts. But she secretly suspected that was where her mother was.

She sees a wolf, not clear who it is yet, her vision has been blurred. She walks up to her pup from the deepest part of the woods, or what it used to be. Now that the tornado has ripped though, there is not much more.
She carries Wild Wind home, resting her in the den with her other two children. Making sure nothing is coming, she runs into some tall grass.
A bit later she comes out with a chipmunk for her, resting it in Wild Winds paws, and lies down, sighing.

She looks up as a water drop hits her nose. She licks it off. The sky lights up with lightning, and a rumble of thunder is heard. She starts getting worried, retreating back to the den.Then, in the corner of her eye she sees things whipping aroud. A gasp is heard as she spots a tornado. She starts running to the den as a long stick whips her in her face, knocking her un concious...

The wolf looks up, shaking. She walks for about an hour, every step hurting her more and more. She finally spots the den. She sees Kovu, but no one else. Walking toward it was horrible. Finally out a pain she falls...

Wild Wind: She watches safely from a distance, not knowing if she should join in or not. Hearing Aaka's yaps, she slinks toward the den.

SilentNight walks over and nudges the cub beside his mother again, growling pleasantly to the youngster. BlackSoul snuggles next to his mother, chuckling to himself in a puppy fashion.

Licking the blood from his muzzle, he turns to retrace his steps to the cave, hunger quenched, but thirsty. He stalks to the bank, bending carefully to lap up the water with his salmon tongue, and surprises a raccoon. He pounces catlike upon the creature and picks it up in his jaws gently, the gray and white and black ring tailed creature dangling limply from his mouth. He carries it back to the cave and deposits it outside the entrance. A gift to his alpha. He returns almost before he is missed, curling up with his tail across his nose, sleeping like a perfect angel. He snuggles next to her warmth, content for the first time in awhile. His orbs blaze one last time as he gazes at the entrance, then the fires are mysteriously extinguished as he shuts his eyes.::

At the heart of his domain are a quintet of dens, one large enough for the entire pack he hopes to lead someday, its spacious interior cool and dry. The stony walls are twice his length from nose tip to tail tip wide, and thrice as high as he is at the withers. The cave extends back many wolf lengths. In the rear, there is a little fresh spring, clean and cool as river water. Occaisionally water drips are heard, and some lichens and moss grows near to the entrance. The other four dens are smaller, and he planned to use them for mother wolves and their pups. Not quite as large as the group den, they are still spacious and airy. He labored long to drag soft mosses and grasses into them to make bedding for the mother wolves and their pups he someday hopes for. The main den is on a small knoll, and the other dens create a semi circle, two on either side. A laughing babbling brook runs through the territory parallel to the main den and surrounding windfalls. Less than a mile west is a meadow, where deer are plentiful. East is denser woods, where larger herbivores, such as moose and elk, live. The dens are backed up against a rocky sheer cliff, making intrusion from that direction impossible. Boulders from the incline east and west prevent trespassing from there difficult. The only way to reach the dens is by heading North, through the southern entrance. Trees in his meadow like clearing provide shade for the wolves. All in all, it is an ideal habitat.::
