many different names for these ripoff artists. A local one near us goes by the name of www.libertyathome.com. many of the names resemble these types o"baits". others like successforlife, fulfillyourdreams and so on, all are connected to Global. Funny how one has to browse through pages and pages of garbage on the website to hear "how much people make each month, what cars they buy, how much in debt they were before this miracle company took them away from all of the debt, and on and on it goes. Finally you get to the clincher on any of their sites, you gotta send money. A whopping $40 for the latest one I saw, the libertyathome one. Amazingly, they state that the money is for "shipping and handling" but the package contains a little workbook, a CD Rom, video tape and contact person's name etc. Its surprising that a small package like this would cost $40 to ship! You can ship a car battery in a box through a parcel service and for something that can weigh over 30 lbs., would only cost about 25-30 bucks. What does Global do, add rocks to their parcels so you pay more to ship it???? Whether or not anyone falls for their B.S. is not the point either. If these types of companies are so "great" and so many have started their own businesses, why don't they tell you what it's all about so you can decide if you want to send them any money to begin with? Why, because they make their money on yet another version of a pyramid scheme! Figure it out, what does it cost them to make a video copy, a buck or two? CD Rom? 50 cents. Little notebook etc. A mere 2-3 dollars and they're raking in the cash when they get enough suckers. Its obvious that they have much to hide and no matter where you live, you can locate a version of this crap near you. Not surprisingly, their ph. numbers are always unlisted and it takes a P.I. to dig further. No matter where they are located, they are being investigated by any number of government watchdogs that field so many complaints its unbelievable. Nothing illegal about setting up your own business, paying the fees associated with it etc., its just that the $40 they charge is not always declared, its sometimes hard to get your money refunded and you are always out something. Local newspapers in your neighbourhood all take issue with these types of companies and they way they operate. At first a newspaper will print the paid-for advert. but once complaints are lodged and they find out how much it resembles a scam/pyramid, they almost always pull those ads. Of course the new names pop-up and it goes on again until they get removed also. Don't waste your money on these idiots but instead phone their toll free numbers and listen to their garbage again. They always have an answering service part at the end that allows you to leave all your particulars on their voice mail. Tell them where to go and how you know they are running a scam. if you know/tell enough people and you all phone soon enough, their answering service will jam up pretty fast. Block your number first, then tell them what you think of them....be especially rude if possible
