Does anyone know for certain what will happen if SON is scamming me - will Amex protect me 100% regardless of whether they get their money back? I asked Amex that same question today, and couldn't get a straight answer. They just said that we would contest the charges. I'm just wondering, do I need to worry about this? I mean, the reason that I felt safe in the first place with making this purchase was the fact that I was using my Amex card. Does Amex have a way to pass the buck on to me if they can't get resolution?
