You can rest assured that was not SON who posted the "caveat emptor" message. Caveat Emptor means let the buyer beware in Latin. There are some of us out in the forum that are quite pissed off because of how this went
down. Both at S-O-N and at Ben. Think about it, would you have been a tenth as wary of this deal had it not been for Ben stirring things up the day after the auction? I doubt it.

Having been in law enforcement for almost seven years, I know a little bit about how scams work. I also know how jumpy people can get when one person starts calling foul. These wholesale resellers do exist around the country.
If you have any friends who work for circuit city or best buy, ask them how much their company pays for the merchandise. It is disgustingly cheap seeing the markup that the stuff goes through.

We were dealing with a novice who tried to jump into e commerce too fast and only then realized that the infrastructure wasn't there to support it.

I am not condoning his actions of not having the merchandise at the time of the sale. That is fraud. Had people not started backing out on the deal, the money transfers from his account to the distributor's would probably have taken place and we all could have gotten really good deals.

patience is a virtue.

As far as an alias, you are half right, it is more of a pseudonym though. I prefer not to leave my information laying about all over the internet. My privacy is extremely important to me. Read what S-O-N wrote before, his grammer skills aren't exactly high enough caliber to have written my message.

P.S. Daniel, if you leave an e mail address, you should leave an active one. my message to you was sent back as undeliverable. Imagine that.
