The YBMs are high strung Cur dogs bred to be aggressive hunters not pets. I believe with time you may be able to calm her down but it will be a struggle with no guarantee of results.
Many of the YBMs are spooky and have tempermental personalities. They are in their element when in the woods running free, hunting, and/or working with their master. They typically don't respond well to being cooped in a house, pen, apt. etc. If you are looking for a good loyal pet, you would probably be better off with another breed.
What is your dog's background, breeding, etc?
