 My name is Charles Edward Bailey .I received my Navy boot Training at Sampson Navel Training Center in August,September and October 1944.
I cannot remember The Company I was in,I do remember my Company Commander It was Chief Ray Miller Famous light weight Boxer from the
1920 and 1930.And the assistant company commander was from Portland Maine.The company joaker was from Quincy Mass,A chubby fellow we
called Tiny.
I would be greatfull for any information
