 trying to find out what ship my father was on during world war 11.have some info but not sure what it all means. she took his training at sampson,n.y. then, went to phib tra, base, solomons, md. I have rec.sta,nyk LCI(L) 588;R/S boston,mass.uss,lcs(l)(b)#12;R/S Navy 128;PSC, Lido Beach, L.I., n.y. Entry is jan.5, 1944. I have a photo of his company but, not names or date. Any info would be of great importance as the ship he was on.
