 My father was embarked aboard the USS Pondera in 1946, I'll assume on his return to the states. I ran across his "Domain of the Golden Dragon" certificate signed by Captain Taylor, Pondera's third Commanding Officer.

My Dad's name was Harold Keith McLaughlin, he was Seabee that served in the Pacific towards the end of the war.
