I am trying to trace Lawrence R. Theroux's Navy history. He died December 15 this year. I have a separation document that has very sporadic information. I know he attended boot camp in October 1942 (Newport Naval Station, I think). He went to Signalman school at Butler University and then went to USNTS, Noroton Hts. Connecticut. Haven't been able to find anything regarding this duty station. He was also stationed aboard Walter X. Young and USN AOC (AGC??) Brooklyn, NY. Any help will be deeply appreciated.
