8-26-2007 Irene and I just returned from Boston and a cruise on the John W. Brown. http://www.liberty-ship.com/

To call the experience incredible would be a vast understatement.

I used 3 different cameras to record the trip - including my old 35mm with the telephoto lens.

Took close to 150 pictures, will be posting some over the next week or two.

The Cruise was scheduled to coincide with the turnaround of the Constitution, another of my favorite ships.

There are only 2 more cruises - out of her home port of Baltimore this year.

The one thing that bothered me is that Boston did NOTHING to promote the visit. For a city that derives a great deal of tourism dollars living off the history and mythology of the Revolution, this really annoyed me. (I changed the wording of the last statement, my original comment was much harsher and not appropriate for the site, but appropriate...)
