 My father, Frank Arthur Lindahl, was a communications officer (Lt.jg) on the Hinsdale. After the Navy, he became a superintendent of schools in Sleepy Eye, MN; he died in the job in 1973.

Wondering if you can point me to a list of crew members/officers on the Hinsdale? Also curious to know if he was part of the Beach Party at Iwo.
