There were over 4000 companies between 1943 and 1945. The company numbers were recycled repeatedly.
The company rosters are on un-indexed microfilm - only about 15% has been transcribed and the project died off over the years. I explored having it done by pros, but it was over $50000 - and the was several years ago.
From the records that were transcribed, there were at least 6 Lockwoods at Sampson on 12/31/43. Only one has the first name and company listed - Lorimer C. Lockwood.
The museum at Sampson has about half of the company pictures available to view.
You are looking for a needle in a haystack, but you might get lucky.
I have no contact at the museum and have not been there since the association disbanded in 2007. My Dad was there in 1944.
