I have enjoyed this site many times. The class photos are great. Many young men in service of their country when duty called. I would have loved to part of that. Born forty years too late. (1965)
I found my Dad's old service records and did some research. He served state side in Florida, Pensacola NAS Whiting Field. S2c Joseph Peter Restino from Hoosick Falls, NY. Entered service Feb. 14, 1945. Any old classmates from spring of '45 who remember my Dad please let me know. Dad is 84,but with alzheimer.
