Sampson message board that you are looking for someone
who knew your father.
I also was a Sampson Sailor {G Unit CO.548 2L} in July
1944,and served on the ANTIETAM 1944 to 1946.
Now search the web for ussantietam.com and put your
message on the Antietam message board. The Antietam
had crew of 3200 men and the Antietam Association
now has a membership of about 900.
