"Canandaigua: Age 80, died after a long illness Friday, October 6, 2006. Mr. Bull was a graduate of Kingston High School and The Albany College of Pharmacy.

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWll as a pharmacist-mate and while in the Navy was assigned to the Marines as a Corpsman in several islands in the Pacific. He was a founding member and served as President for over 20 years of the Sampson W W Il Naval Museum.

Mr. Bull owned and operated for 25 years the VanGorder Rexall Drug Store in Seneca Falls, New York, He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., and The Elks Club.

Mr. Bull is survived by his wife, Stella Ann Bull; son, Stephen (Kathy) Bull; daughter, Kathie (Thomas) Affleck, both of Canandaigua; 2 grandsons, Jeffrey Ethan Bull of N.Y.C. and Thomas Barry Affleck of Canandaigua. He is also survived by step-children, Gordon C. (Lynn) Bacon, Mary Kaye (John) Marsh, Patti (Scott) Young, Randall (Wendy) Bacon; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, He was predeceased by his first wife Elaine Bull in 2000.

Friends may call at the Kennedy & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 15 Bristol Street, Canandaigua Tuesday, October 10th, 2:00-5:00 P.M. A Graveside Military Service wilI be held in Woodlawn Cemetery Thursday, October 12th at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in c/o Sampson Navy Memorial Museum Trust Fund, 6096 Route 96A, Romulus, NY 14541."
