Schumann [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 04:25:39 11/17/06 Fri Very interesting website - my father was in Company 133 - February 15 1944 - He never said much about his training at Sampson - except that he took a train from Chicago to New York. After Sampson - he was assigned to the Naval Air Station in Key West, FL. I still have the training group photo and most of his uniforms, seabag, etc. - probably all issued to him while at Sampson.
