 Just wondering if there just maybe someone out there that was in the same company.After boots I WENT THROUGH ELECTRICIANS SCHOOL IN ST LOUIS ,MO. THEN ON TROUP SHIPS TO THREE DIFFERENT RECEIVING STATIONS IN THE PACIFIC CHASING MY ASSIGNED SHIP AS IT WENT FROM ONE ILSAND TO ANOTHER. FINALLY CAUGHT UP TO IT AT GUADAL CANAL. IT WAS THE USS McCONNELL DE 163. A DESTROYER ESCORT. I SPENT 2YRS. ON IT. WE GOT 3 BATTLE STARS FOR OUT DUTY WE PERFORMED. ANY ONE WANT TO CHECK ON WHAT WE WERE CAN CHECK THIS WEBSITE OUT. desausa.org
